Megan Braverman has earned an exceptional reputation as a strategic asset for law firms and other professional service firms and is known for her ability to execute marketing programs that surpass business goals. Immersing herself in clients’ operations enables Megan to identify what sets firms apart from their competition, and leverage this to create countless PR opportunities, generate awareness and reinforce credibility.

Creativity and a tenacious dedication to success is the driving force behind Megan’s natural aptitude to lead clients in a direction that is effective in growing their firm. Whether crafting compelling story ideas or drafting press releases, she has a knack for uncovering fresh angles and tying them to trends to create attention-getting stories that resonate with audiences. Moreover, Megan keeps clients focused, capitalizes on their strengths and navigates clients through critical business decisions like succession planning.

As Owner and Principal, Megan plays an integral role with all of Berbay’s clients, working closely with the Account Managers to ensure the successful execution of marketing plans. She makes it a priority to regularly revisit client objectives and assess if the current strategy is supporting those goals. This proactive approach results in a consistent marketing momentum for clients.

EXPERIENCE

Megan’s big-picture thinking allows her to get the most mileage out of marketing activities. Representative successes on behalf of clients, include:

  • Developed and spearheaded a multi-office law firm’s marketing and public relations campaign, including working with practice groups to develop strategy and implement programs, as well as working with associates on personal business development programs.
  • Quarterbacked all aspects of marketing and public relations during the integration of a Los Angeles law firm after its acquisition by an international law firm.
  • Organized and facilitated a law firm’s press conference in less than 24 hours, resulting in feature stories on local news stations, as well as compliments from the press on the organization and structure.
  • Pitched a financial services client as an expert on industry trends to print, broadcast and online media, resulting in coverage in high-profile national outlets such the Wall Street Journal, NBC, Los Angeles Business Journal and more.
  • Spearheaded a Search Engine Marketing campaign for a personal injury law firm, which landed the client on the first page of all major search engines and directly increased traffic to the firm’s website.

BACKGROUND

Born and raised in Cleveland, Megan prides herself on her strong Midwestern roots and close relationship with her family. She graduated with honors from the University of Dayton in Ohio with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

Megan is a member of Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and ProVisors. She previously served as a cabinet member and executive committee member of the Jewish Federation. Megan has been a volunteer with School on Wheels, which provides tutoring services and other educational assistance to homeless children in Southern California, and CoachArt, which uses art and athletics to help kids impacted by chronic illness.
