Assistant Account Manager Shania Jackson’s background in developing content and story ideas for media pitches, nominations, press releases and newsletters are an invaluable asset in getting clients the attention they warrant. With an eye for detail, Shania is particularly skilled at breaking down legal and technical language in laymen’s terms to resonate with a range of audiences.


Shania advanced her passion for marketing and public relations through several positions in the consumer, corporate and business-to-business sectors. Prior to joining Berbay, she worked in tech PR and obtained national media recognition for clients.

Representative successes on behalf of clients include:

  • Secured multiple opportunities in national and local press for a patent attorney in discussing cannabis patent litigation.
  • Crafted content for a law firm newsletter with the goal of increasing engagement; resulted in highest open rate for client to date.
  • Created a target media list of reporters covering a high-profile lawsuit, which was used to pitch and obtain top-tier coverage for a law firm client.
  • Obtained an interview with NBC for a law firm discussing a lawsuit against a high-profile airline.


Shania obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communications from University of North Texas, where she was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society. She also served as President for two consecutive terms, and as Secretary, for the University of North Texas chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.
